What’s on GV 3rd September 2018
Much as I don’t like to admit it, we seem to be coming to the end of the summer. The trees are starting to change colour and the hedgerows are filled with berries. I think that autumn does seem to be creeping in.
The changing seasons are reflected in the programme for September. There is the usual mix of Farmer’s Markets, musical events and what is probably the highlight, ‘H-Art’, the annual art festival. What is great about this is that it features venues across the county. Including our own Kilpeck Village Hall, where there is also

Last Saturday evening, I visited Peterchurch Village Hall for a most engaging performance by the Hill Billies, who promised to ‘rock the joint til the cows come home’. The review is elsewhere. Let’s just say that they didn’t disappoint.
The programme is being filled with events for September and beyond. Just in is a bingo night on Friday 21st at Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall, aiming to raise funds for the Ewyas Harold Football Club. Sounds a great idea.
