Courtesy of Ewyas Harold village shop…The idea of enjoying freshly baked croissants being enjoyed dining alfresco may sound like a luxury to be enjoyed when in Paris. It is true that I am writing this on a cold December afternoon when the only thing to be consumed outside is a cup of hot soup, and I am reflecting on moments from earlier in the year. However, those caveats aside, on a Saturday morning, the village shop takes a delivery of freshly baked croissants. And on one particular Saturday morning, I went before breakfast to collect supplies. Returning home with the sun just starting to warm the air, a memorable feast was enjoyed on the terrace at home. Complimented by morning coffee, this was a delightful breakfast. Keep up the good work, Ewyas Harold village shop.
